HASTA hanging lamp

The first of the lamps designed by Jan Garncarek. It refers to white weapons. Weapons were always present in the designer's family home. The designer was inspired by a story from his childhood when he was staying at his grandfather's house. Late one evening, the phone rang at home. It turned out that a burglar alarm had gone off at the neighbour's house, which automatically made such calls. Jan Garncarek's grandfather then took out a flute (a sword) and went to deal with the burglar. However, he escaped. The lamp is supposed to relate to a spear with which one could defend oneself in case of need. In fact, the elongated part of the lamp is not so easily removable, serving more as a symbol.
