Clay

Clay designed by UK-based designer Marc Krusin is a table sculpture born of the encounter between two volumes: the top and the base balanced one on the other, a daring experiment in resting on a surface reduced to a minimum.

A perfect blend of beauty and harmony of proportions, Clay sets out to be an object capable of defining the space where it is placed with its own pronounced personality, without however being obtrusive thanks to its barely-there elegance. The result of the ongoing technical research at Desalto is the coating, for the version with top in MDF, made with special lava stone pastes spread by using a broad knife to give an idea of naturalness and at the same time of strength.

Base in rigid polyurethane and available in lacquered finishing or covered with hand-spread material finishes. Available in Black Concrete, Tufo Stone, and White Duomo. Available in two size diameters: 160cm and 180cm.
