Sofa I

Inspired by the idea of giant beast stacking rocks to make the environments they inhabit. I wanted to make a sofa that felt a permanent part of a spaces landscape, something dramatic and unexpected, but puts you at ease and makes you feel safe and comfortable. The black granite used in this edition is soft yet incredibly hard and strong. Hand sculpted in Brooklyn NY.
