Monolithic Sideboard

Monolithic Sideboard was designed for a private residence in London. It is made of a walnut wood structure and is cladded in patinated brass sheet folded and facetted around the corners. The top surface of the sideboard is a lacquered burr walnut veneer. The stumpy feet and the push drawers add to the minimalist design of the piece - only the lines on the surface tell the user where the seemingly solid block opens.
