Correspondingly, a simple wheel, cast in aluminum, is divided, repeated, and assembled in a poetic manner to make functional objects that are aesthetically striking.The table is composed of 4 cast metal shells or feet that suggest a storage space and are united by a tabletop. The metal is finished with restraint, leaving visible traces of the manufacturing process, which highlights the roughness of making. The BB collection explores through an empirical game of assembling new forms from a single element.A simple wheel cast in aluminum foundry is divided, repeated and assembled in a poetic way to create functional objects.
The table is composed of 4 aluminum shells constituting the base and also suggesting a storage space, the whole being secured by a rectangular top. The aluminum foundry finish reveals the traces of sandblasting from the manufacturing process. All the edges are polished, thus emphasizing the sculptural form of the table.
