ONDA CENTER TABLE

The Onda Center Table is associated with the image of the sea. The granite sculpture creates the perfect curve – marked by the amplitude from the point of equilibrium of rest to the crest of the wave. A movement of water that presents strength and delicacy in a block of Brazilian stone. The black base gives a sense of depth, that the material is dense, complex and mysterious, like a nocturnal ocean. The white spots, in opposition, recall the foam of the breaking, the future of the wave: stirred water, clarity and friction. The choice of a long, rectangular base contrasts with the organic, undulating shape, which gives curves and diagonalizes the center of the table. The piece of furniture becomes a landscape, or better yet: a photograph of a landscape.
