The following features and not currently available as part of this version. By illustrating these features, we hope to show our early members what the future version will be capable of. In addition, they illustrate what the support of these early members will allow us to build.

This space is the primary repository for all the things that you have purchased as well those things, designers, brands, and places that you are dreaming about or planning to acquire. It allows for annotating these things in order to tell your personal story that defines your collection and legacy.

Your Collection of Homes and Things

This space not only allows you to develop and track the budget associated with your home, collections, and associated projects, it also provides a guide to assess the quality of items in order to find items that will last longer. It also tracks the overall value of your collection and home.

Maintenance

This space provides access to service providers who maintain the value of your home. This includes everything that happens on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis, but does not include bigger projects to fundamentally alter the home. Such services related to larger projects are found in “Plan the Future.”

This space provides access to the services that ensure your home continues to function and remain safe and protected. This includes services such as waste, water, and energy as well as home security, insurance, and events.

Utilities and Operations

This space provides secure storage for important documents related to the home. This could include your lease, title, service contracts, estate planning, passwords, emergency plans, and certificates of authenticity.

This space allows you to invite other people to join you as collaborators on your home, collection, or project. It allows you to invite family members to share home schedules, designers to work on projects, and to meet others in your neighborhood who might also use OurThings.

All services will be accessible at all phases of your journey. However, we will highlight particular services that might become more relevant at each stage. All of these services will be integrated to varying degrees with 3rd party service providers.
